Events are more than just a job for me – they’re a part of my story. Since I was 20, I’ve accompanied and designed many different event formats as a guest and employee. Growing up as a child of the 90s in East Berlin, the thriving party culture didn’t pass me by. Even as a teenager, I was captivated by the city’s colorful club scene. The feeling of sharing a common passion with others, of belonging, repeatedly drew me to places where I could rediscover that same feeling. You could say I grew up in Berlin’s nightlife – this much-praised subculture that has earned the city an international reputation for freedom and seemingly endless possibilities. This is where I began my professional career in events as a bartender in underground clubs, mainstream discotheques, and at popular large-scale events. It was always a thrill for me to watch other people party and to contribute to their fantastic evening with my work. It never felt like work. Other people’s happiness was always my happiness, too.
And yet, even this seemingly ever-glamorous world is not without its dark sides. Drugs and alcohol, sleepless long nights, take a toll on body and soul. Some people lose themselves in the illusion of endless euphoria and a supposed connection that suddenly ceases to exist once the substances on which it is based are withdrawn.
Despite all my love for dance music and club culture, I couldn’t continue my career in this way. The ecstatic partying, driven by drugs and alcohol, became increasingly destructive to me, especially since I lived and worked in this environment following a sober lifestyle. The fact that I was already on the yoga path fueled my decision to exchange my work in the nightlife scene for a job with meaning. I no longer wanted to use my energy to promote a destructive lifestyle. My career path led me to managing a yoga studio in Berlin, project management for the Yoga United Festival, and finally, on the corporate side, where I was able to further professionalize my skills.
Today, both of these factors influence my work: a sense of mood, aesthetics, and atmosphere from the event business, coupled with an attitude of mindfulness, clarity, and intention.
I don’t just plan events—I create spaces where true connection can occur. Spaces that are both powerful and gentle at the same time. My expertise from both worlds allows me to create events with substance: with a keen sense of detail, a clear eye for structure, and an open heart for what truly touches people.
With Heartful Events, I dedicate myself with heart and passion to the professionalization and innovative conception of projects in the context of mindfulness, awareness, and spirituality. I want to invite more people to experience the euphoria and happiness of celebrating and dancing from within themselves and inspire them to connect with others in an honest and authentic way.
